Program Qualification Level

First and Emergency Aid associate degree program (short level in Bologna Process Higher Education Qualifications Framework, fift level in Turkey Higher Education Qualifications Framework (TYYÇ)), is a vocational training and practice-oriented associate degree program, designed especially to meet the needs of the business world in the relevant field and level and to provide graduates with the basic knowledge and practical application competencies for employment area. Objectives of the Program

Our main objective is to train first and emergency aid technicians who are sensitive to people, society and ethical principles, respectful to themselves and their environment, proficient in the profession, can improve themselves continuously, adopt scientific thinking, are open to different thoughts and cultures, and work as a first and emergency aid technician in public institutions and private organizations in the health sector, and also to educate qualified manpower equipped with professional knowledge and skills .

Students who successfully complete the program are given “Associate Degree Diploma” and “First and Emergency Aid Technician ” title.

Length and Process of the Program

Duration of education is 4 semesters. During the education process, a minimum of 120 ECTS must be completed, provided that it is not less than 60 ECTS. Our students will do their internships at relevant departments of Application and Research Hospitals affiliated to the Ministry of Health. Internship evaluation and applications are done according to the principles of Internship Directive of UHS

Job and Academic Career Opportunities for Graduates

Graduates of this program can work as a first and emergency aid technician in public and private health institutions. Students who complete the program are given the opportunity to trasfer to the Health Administration and Health Management departments according to their score from the DGS.
