Program Qualification Level

Occupational Therapy Undergraduate Program; Higher Education Qualifications Framework to Turkey (TYYÇ) by education level is level 6 is located in the Basic Health Area. In addition, it is the 1st level according to the "European Higher Education Area Qualifications Framework" (QF-EHEA) and the 6th level according to the "European Qualifications Framework for Lifelong Learning" (EQF-LLL).

Objectives of the Program

The aim of the occupational therapy undergraduate program is to synthesize the theoretical and practical knowledge acquired, to plan and implement person-centered occupational therapy evaluation and interventions, to increase the independence and quality of life of individuals through meaningful and purposeful activities, and to provide lifelong learning, clinical reasoning, critical thinking and interdisciplinary work. To train occupational therapists who can make evidence-based practices with their skills and have professional ethics and competence.

Length and Process of the Program

The education period is 8 semesters.

During the undergraduate program, a minimum of 240 ECTS credits are required, provided that 30 ECTS credits are required in one academic semester. Successful completion of all courses and a grade point average of at least 2.00 out of 4.00 are the qualification requirements for graduation.
