Pharmacy Services programmeets the specified conditions and level qualifications in "Quick Level (Short Cycle)" defined in the Bologna Process’s “Qualification Framework for European Higher Education Area (QF-EHEA)”, level-5 qualifications defined in "Turkey Higher Education Qualifications Framework (TYYÇ)", and also in the “European Qualifications Framework for Lifelong Learning (EQF-LLL)”.It is an associate degree program focused mainly on vocational education and application and is designed to meet the needs of the business world at the relevant field and level, and to provide graduates with basic knowledge and practical application competencies for employment in this field.The programclassification and training area codes are given below according to "International Standard Classification of Education (ISCED) 2011" and "Turkey Higher Education Qualifications Framework (TYYÇ)":

Objectives of the Program

Our main objective is to trainqualified health staffthat are equipped with the professional knowledgerequired for the program,know how to research and learn, have high self-confidence and responsibility, can undertake team work and meet the demand within the health system by creating a successfulgraduation profile.In line with this main purpose, it also aimed to:

- to trainthe intermediate staff needed by pharmacies and pharmaceuticals providing health services in acompletely scientific environment,

- to train the staffthat have the necessary knowledge, skills and professional skills,

- to provide training and job opportunities for our young people as well as assisting the correct consumption of drugs during the treatment process with the helpof the staff trained in more qualified,scientific and better conditions.

Those who complete the program receive the title of pharmacy technician according to the Law on Amendments to Some Laws and Decree Laws dated 6/4/2011 and Law No.6225 published in the OfficialGazette on Tuesday, April 26, 2011.

Length and Process of the Program

Duration of education is 4 semesters. During the education period, at least 120 ECTS must be completed, provided that it is not less than 60 ECTS in an academic year. Our students do their internship at the relevant departments of application and research hospitals affiliated with the Ministry of Health,in pharmacies, inpharmacies of private hospitals, and in the industry related to the field. Internship evaluation and applications are done according to the principles of Internship Directions of Vocational School of Health Services.

Entry requirements for this program are determined by OSYM in accordance with the relevant legislation of the Higher Education Institution. Students are admitted to the program by transfer.
