Entering the first cycle degree and short cycle degree programs in Turkish Higher Education Institutions is through a central placement test. Central placement is held by the Measurement Selection and Placement Centre (OSYM). Students who get 150 over 500 points in test for basic proficiency (TYT) can enter only short cycle degree programs at the University of Health Sciences. If they score over 170 points, they can take test for field proficiency (AYT) exam. Students who receive 180 over 500 points from AYT exam can make their choices from the bachelor program based on their type of test score. The placement into the first cycle degree programs is based on the scores students obtain from TYT and AYT and their grade point average of high school in Türkiye.

A transfer is an application that allows students who want to move to the same or a different department in another university, within the framework of certain rules, after a certain period after being placed in a program according to the results of the university exam.

The first requirement for a transfer is the highest-grade point average. Universities determine the lowest GPA required by themselves, and the lowest average varies between 3.00 and 3.50 out of 4.00. Considering that the transfer quotas are limited, the student with the highest average has a higher chance

Students can apply for transfer at the earliest when they complete their first academic year. The first year of preparation is not counter, students must complete one year in their departments to calculate their GPA. For associate degree programs (2 years) for the first semester or the last semester; Undergraduate programs (4 years) cannot apply for the first year or the last year.

A transfer student is expected to complete successfully at least one year (other than preparatory and support classes) of an undergraduate program in an accredited institution abroad and have a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 75 out of 100 and 3.00 out of 4.00. Transfer students will be considered based on the following criteria:

- Quota availability,

- High-grade contribution to the program by the candidate,

- Quality of the candidate’s academic record and achievements.

Military students are accepted to the following Faculties and Vocational Schools of our university. Quotas are defined by Ministry of National Defence and Ministry of Internal Affairs for each year.
