2023 Student Selection and Placement Exam Announcement for Cobanbey Faculty of Medicine...

Students will be admitted to Çobanbey Faculty of Medicine Program, University of Health Sciences (SBU), for the 2023-2024 Academic Year, by making written and oral interview exams. Student Selection and Placement Exam applications will be made online between 02 July – 06 August 2023 at https://basvuru.sbu.edu.tr/.

For candidates who do not have a high school diploma for the interview application to Çobanbey Faculty of Medicine, the applications of those who have Baccalaureate (IB) Result Certificate (scientific-numerical or literary-verbal) obtained at the end of high school graduation exams will be accepted.

Candidates who have not taken the written exam although they apply for the University of Health Sciences Student Selection and Placement Exam will not be taken to the interview exam.

SBU Student Selection and Placement written exam for Çobanbey Faculty of Medicine will be held on 16 August 2023 at 11:00 (Syrian time) at the centres in Çobanbey, Azez and Elbab in Syria

Only candidate students with Syrian nationality living in Syria and candidates with foreign nationality other than Surian one  residing in Syria will be able to apply for University of Health Sciences (SBU) Çobanbey Faculty of Medicine foreign student selection and placement exam in the 2023-2024 academic year. Applications of candidates with dual citizenship, whose first nationality is Syria and who have acquired the citizenship of the Republic of Turkiye through application, will not be accepted. Even if candidates, who are determined that they have made an illegal application even though they do not meet the application requirements, are eligible to settle, their registration procedures will be cancelled.

Candidates who will apply for the 2023 Student Selection and Placement Exam for Çobanbey Faculty of Medicine will not be able to apply for the SBÜYÖS2023 Foreign Student Selection and Placement Exam held by our University in Turkiye. Applications of candidates who are found to have applied for both exams at the same time will be deemed invalid. Even if they gain the right to final registration, their registration will be cancelled.

Students enrolled in a university in Turkey cannot apply to Çobanbey Faculty of Medicine. However, students who are enrolled in any of faculties of medicine in Syria or Cobanbey will also be registered at Cobanbey Medical Faculty after they have gained the right to enroll in Cobanbey Medical Faculty, provided that they cancel their registration from the previous faculty. In addition, students who are found to be enrolled in two different universities will be deleted from Çobanbey Faculty of Medicine regardless of the academic year.
